Zázemí is a jazz ensemble, but we acknowledge the truth attributed to Big Bill Broonzy that "It's all folk music 'cause horses don't sing." 

We play whatever members of the group bring to the table, which keeps our music fresh and eclectic.

We are always looking to revive a standard or to popularize a less-commonly played tune you never knew you loved.

Zázemí is a Czech word that represents “everything that makes your life worth living... It’s a combined appreciation of many feelings and values:  love, security, ambition, success, your culture, language, family, relatives, friends.”

Zázemí is based in Louisville, Colorado

and is available for gigs throughout the Front Range.
